I am thinking about buying a Waring Blender, but I just worry about the durability of this product. if anyone could give me the country, that will be great. thks.
I am curious about this too as it rates a mention as a lyric in Linda Ronstadt's song "Poor Poor Pitiful". I'd bet the US or even Mexico or South America.

The jug leaks and it seems to be a sealed unit - ie I cant remove the blades

Fred Waring, a one-time Penn State architectural and engineering student, was always fascinated by gadgets. He first achieved fame fronting the big band, Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians, but the blender made Waring a household name.

It's basically along the lines of Adobe After Affect, with extra 3D modelling and rendering functionality, but it's free. (The Adobe suite is CAD $1000.00 plus).
Blender is best. I am using it. I have used Maya5PLE, but I didn't have that much money to purchase. I turn towards Blender. You have to learn you own by hits and trial. There are lots tutorials available. If you want to learn from me, 1st see my Blender work.

What is the best, must durable blender available?

I am on a diet the requires me to use my blender with ice at least 5 times a day. I have been on the diet 8 months and have blown out 3 blenders including a Waring, Kitchen Aid, Back to Basics. I need to buy a new one, but I want it to be industrial strength. Which one should I buy?
According to this site the Braun blender is best rated and crushes ice especially good.
I have seen the Waring Pro blender in many bars and it works especially good at crushing ice. Maybe more expensive than the Braun but should last longer.
