How do I disconnect a Bosch dishwasher & reconnect a new Bosch in the UK?

There is a grey box at the back which has a voltage symbol on it and the water pipe also appears to be connected into this box. My new dishwasher is also a Bosch. The old and new are both freestanding.

The grey box with the voltage symbol indicates that this machine utilises an antiflood mechanism. In the event of the dishwasher over filling, the float switch in the base of the dishwasher will signal the grey box to isolate the water supply. People often mis-diagnose a faulty dishwasher by over looking this safety feature.
Isolate both the electrical and water supply to the dishwasher before undertaking any work on this machine.
Physically remove the three pin plug from the wall socket and turn off the water isolating valve. Use a pipe pliers to unscrew the brass nut on the end off the grey box.
If you have a tiled or wooden kitchen floor, try putting a dab of liquid soap on the floor near to the dishwasher feet. It will make it easy to slide the dishwasher out as you try to remove it.
When fitting the new dishwasher remember to level the machine using the adjustable feet. I like to have the machine tilting slightly to the rear only 1 or 2 degrees max. The idea here is if your machine generates a lot of suds during normal operation, the excess volume won't fall into the drip tray in the base of the machine and thus activating the antiflood system.

Now reconnect all services and you're good to go.

We bought a bosch dishwasher not that long ago. It seems to smell bad all the time. Never had this problem before with our old dishwasher. Run it as often as before. It just smells bad... whats the deal?

Wondering if anyone has a Bosch dishwasher and how you like it?

I need a new dishwasher, looking to purchase a Bosch but i am a little worried about the lack of heat element, i never used the heating cycle on my dishwasher now, but not sure how different it is with out any at all, if anyone know i would appreiciate it.

New integrated slimline Bosch dishwasher - unable to unscre back foot - afraid of using too much force and breaking it. Am I missing something ?

the back foot is adjusted from the front of the machine,you will find a hexagonal plastic nut in the middle at the bottom of the machine.screw it clockwise to screw the leg out and be careful as they can snap when pushing the machine back into place.

I am considering purchasing one of the two panel-ready Bosch dishwasher models (SHV57C03UC or SHV46C13UC). Consumer Reports rates 3 Bosch models highly but other sources I have consulted indicate that Bosch dishwashers have high repair rates. If you own a Bosch, have you had any problems with it? Would you buy one again? Which model do you own and how long have you owned it?

I bought a Bosch dishwasher two years ago -- one of the highly rated models in CR. I am extremely happy with it. No repair issues, works as advertised.

What I really love is the incredible quietness. Many times I am literally standing right next to it and pull it open to stick a dish in, and find that it is already running and I never noticed. Any other dishwasher and you'd sure KNOW it's running because of the rumble.

If you're trying to understand repair rates, one response like this, however, isn't a good sample. I'm just one customer. If you're concerned about repairs, you could purchase a repair contract. I didn't, however.

One more thing -- I bought mine at Sears, and was able to negotiate them down from $800 to below $600. Little known fact -- you can bargain at Sears! Works especially best on close-out models.
