Why is my dishwasher leaking?

I have a GE dishwasher and on the left side there is rubber hose that connects to a tube that leads inside the dishwasher. When I start the cycle water pours out from the two air gaps. Why? Is this something that can be fixed?

How do I get my dishwasher controls And pump to work?

I replaced the pump and motor on my GE 1410 dishwasher and now the cycle controls are all mixed up and the new pump does not empty the water in the bottom of washer. To install, I had to switch the breaker to off. Is there a way to reset the electronic controls. Thanks
After I ran the 2nd complete cycle, the electronics reset. My new pump still does not work. Is it possible to have a vapor lock in the drain line? If so, how do I remove it.
Problem with dishwasher?

I have a GE portable dishwasher that wont drain was working fine through the pot and pan cycle then it wouldn't drain and the bottom spray wands don't work like they used to how do I fix this.
I tried vinegar and the float device but neither are working.
First, check the filter.
There should be a screen of some sort inside of the washing chamber that you can remove by unscrewing a few screws.
The filter will be inside.
Some are removable, some are not.
Just make sure it's clear and clean.
Next, check the drain hose.
Disconnect it and flush it out with a hose.
Again, clear and clean.
Before you reinstall it, make sure the opening it attaches to is also clear and clean.
If this doesn't fix the problem,
it might be the motor/pump assembly.
If so, I'm afraid it's not worth it to repair it.
It would cost less for a new unit.
Check out the prices on the internet for new or reconditioned motor/pumps for your model.
Add the cost of installation,
and you'll see if it's worth it or not.

why does 5 year old GE dishwasher have excess water in bottom after cycles are complete?

In most all dishwashers there is a very fine screened filter in the bottom of the unit. This sometimes gets plugged or partially plugged and needs cleaning. If you can't see a couple screws to take out or can't find your manual, then ask a friend who's somewhat mechanical to take a look for you. I've seen these things so plugged up with gunk that you can barely get water thru them.
