Why is my dishwasher soiling some of my glassware?

It seems that when I put my pre-rinsed dishes (glassware, flatware, tableware, etc.) into my household dishwasher, some of the remaining particulate (what appears to be parsley, pepper, etc.) gets sprayed up and INTO my glassware, where it stays and dries, never being rinsed off.
The dishwasher was installed before I moved into this house. I do not know the model, but the brand is White Consolidated. I was NOT proided with an instruction manual.
This issue seems to happen regardless of the TYPE, AMOUNT, or BRAND of dishwasher detergent I use (such as regular powder, or gel-packs, or powder packs), and regardless of whether I use a rinse aid or not.
[Thanks for the notes about "caustic soda." As this is something I've never bought, does it sell under a brand name I would recognise? What kinds of stores would sell this?]

I'm now 16, sophomore and lately have becoming very skeptic of schools and what people (as in teachers, and parents say). i will admit im kind of a smart a**, angst filled teen, ha.
It seems all we learn in high school is trivial Bullsh**.
I pay attention in Spanish, and Social Studies (World affairs) because i see them relevant and useful. I understand highscool is a social learning point for a teen, but i just see closed minded people calling eachother 'fags' .And the other classes seem so pointless.
My brother (21 now) dropped out of high school and has an apartment with his girlfriend, he is a vegan cook (starting from a dishwasher, ha! promotion ladder) and seems to be doing just fine.
There are so many other examples of people i know who make it by with a bad high school time and didn't proceed to college. They are all more aware, open-minded, interesting people.
So my major question is, Why should we aim or college and an 'American dream' white collar family in the suburbs (not really literally but you know). because im sick of being pushed by parents into thinking i 'need' all of that. will there be some point in my life i openly so..."Oh damn, i should have gone to college!"
White water coming out of faucet?

I have well water. The water used to run clear but lately it is very unclear (greyish/white). I notice now I can't get dishes clean when using dishwasher and everything dries with this powdery residue. What needs to be done to fix this problem? (I have tried using vinegar, JetDry, etc. etc. Does something need to be done to the well?
Also, is this safe to drink??
Sounds like lime. If the water foot valve is close to bottom it might pick up the sediment. I use to put bleach in mine 2 to 4 times a year to fight bacteria. Is your filter dirty? Change filter.

they're lying to themselsves. they want everyone to think they are pure and virgins, but in reality they've probably been around the block with a dozen or so guys. it's all a fraud.

Wood Salad Bowl Has White Splotches?

I accidentally put my new wooden salad bowl and tongs in the dishwasher. (D'oh!) Now it has white splotches on it.
I tried rubbing Block Oil for cutting boards on the spots, but it didn't help.
Any advice?
