Does anyone know of an upright freezer with ice maker/dispenser in door ? That isn't a fridge?

http://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/ajmadison/B24ID80.html is an example of one. Yes, they do exist. You can probably get one special ordered through the usual appliance stores (they may have one that is more affordable than this one.)
Appliance stores like Sears do have the ability to special order more appliances than they display. Dedicated appliance stores may be more willing to do so.

Why do my refrigerator's coils keep freezing over?

I have an upright refrigerator. The top is the freezer compartment and the bottom the "fridge". The coils in the back of the freezer compartment ice over and cause the "fridge" part not to cool. Causing a lot of food to go bad until I clean all the ice build up off. Help me save some money please!
3 possible things... your door isn't sealing tight, causing warm air to get into the fridge which makes the moisture build up and freeze onto the coil. If it is an automatic defrost type, there is a problem with the defrost timer or the defrost heater. Or it could be low on refirgerant, which will cause the coil to freeze up.

I think there may be a problem with gasses etc.
There is a problem, but it is with the compressor and the way it works... the oil in the system will leak out of the compressor, and when you turn the freezer on it will make a loud noise as the compressor tears itself apart. if you have already laid the machine on it's side, give it a day or two for the oil to drain back to where it belongs.

I've only worked on this type of equipment for 20+ years, so I could be wrong... but I doubt it! there is a new sonic AC motor, but it costs so much I doubt you'd ask about skimping on trading in your upright for a chest...
