should I be concerned? It smells so strong, I am afraid its alot of chemicals and it might hurt my baby. Should I move to my bedroom and close the door?

recipe:grilled/fried sweetbreads(mojellas)?

For those who don't know what it is: Calves' salivary gland (which pretty much acts like a muscle) I compare it to a cut of muscle instead of a gland b/c of the way it acts within the body. It's a working organ and therefore has alot of flavor.
We usually havethe butcher slice one mojella into 4 slices and just S&P it and/or sprinkle with Adobe seasoning. We spray our grill so as not to have the meat sick and BBQ using CHARCOAL!! We live in the rio grande of TX where BBQ is big.
we eat mojellas in corn tortillas from MX(the best EVER!) w/homemade Pico.
Anyone have any cooking techniques when it comes to Mojellas???
What kind of grill should I purchase? Infrared?
Jan 19, 2009 by Jeremy F | Posted in Cooking & Recipes
I love charcoal but I can't use it where I live. I've been leaning towards purchasing a infrared grill but not sure if it's worth the money. I love to on my grill year round and a min. of 2-3 times a week so I need something reliable. Thanks!
I grill at least 4 or 5 times per week year round, and have always relied upon propane ($550 - $700 range). What I have found is I use them enough that after a period of time things do wear out (starter, burners, problems with the lines, etc.). When calculating how much it would be to purchase replacement parts, it has been more cost effective for me to buy a new grill every 2-3 years.
I have, however, also looked at the infrared grills, and they are sweet, but super expensive! Hope this helps ;)

Jan 18, 2009 by Penny Laine Makes Glazed Donuts | Posted in Polls & Surveys
Home Depot and Lowe's do not have it in stock yet.
I bought a new smoker and need this!
(There is no grilling or bbq section!)
Thanks everyone!!!
try a fireplace shop or a farrier supply/ feed and grain store. or look for blacksmiths supply's. tmm
if you are just going to be smoking something think of green wet wood and regular charcoal.

A charcoal barbeque grill is a connoisseur?s delight
There is no adequate for to a charcoal barbeque grill. It may take time to cook or it may leave a mess behind but it cooks the nicest barbeque. The smoky flavor can come only from the hot, moist smoke that rises in a charcoal grill.
However, there is a turn side too. Wood chips or coal can be stubborn on damp and rainy days and give you trifling control and the heat once they are fully lighted up. Besides you have to wait for several hours for the coals to chill before you can clean the grill and the cleaning can be quite messy.
But these are minor inconveniences, and are fully overshadowed by charcoal barbequed food. If you are a barbeque connoisseur you must go for a charcoal grill. However, before doing so, keep the following points in sapience:
– Charcoal fires produce carbon monoxide and cannot be used in a closed space. You necessity an open space for a charcoal grill.
– Small grills can handle a couple of burgers or steaks but not vegetables on the side. So pay concentration to size. A small grill will be useless if you have people over for barbeques.
– There are grills with long legs, terminate legs and even detachable legs. Use one that suits you and your work space best.
– Pay distinction to design. Kettle shaped ones help smoke wrap up around the eatables better; box shaped ones are ideal for hamburgers and hot dogs; and the dome shaped ones labour best for thicker meat.
– Look for vents on the lid of the grill and at the bottom. This will help give you more conduct on temperature
– Look for two grates. The one at the bottom should be to lift coals while the one at the top should be for cooking the food. In general the grates sit on metal pieces welded to the grill. Make sue these are strong.
– Handles should be insulated for easier handling. This is a very key feature but without it you?d be burning your hands once too often.
– A finish is not for aesthetic reasons alone. A good drink up uses heat proof paint over quality steel and makes for untroubled cleaning.
