Has anyone bought the Jack Lalanne power juicer?

I was thinking of getting one but wanted to know if anyone has one and if they think it's worth the money.
Also, how well does it work?
What kind of juice do you make in your Jack LaLanne's Juicer?

My family has a juicer and so far my moms been juicing away at some random vegetables that i dont like (like spinach... celery... yuck juice) and so far the only combination i like is apple-carrot-orange. what are you favorites? i only like fruits, but carrots are okay, and maybe cucumbers, but no leafy veggies please!
Thanks a bunch!
I have a Juiceman juicer, but have been considering the LaLanne juicer for it's wide opening. The blade on the Juiceman is really effective, though.
Apple-Carrot is really amazing. It's delicious and adds tone to my skin from the beta-carotene.
Orange juice, made with as much white pectin as possible, is the most creamy and tasty oj I've ever had.
Watermelon, juiced with the rind and seeds, is the most refreshing liquid I've ever consumed.
Cabbage beet and kiwi is great.
Carrot, celery and parsley is another favorite.

Which do you recommend? The Omega 8003 juicer or the Jack Lalanne juicer? ?

Trying to decide between the two. The Lalanne is wide enough that you can put whole fruits in. The Omega might be easier cleanup and juice better - i can't decide. What are your experiences?
Is the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer worth the money? Does it work well, and is it worth the $100 + we have to pay?

I saw the TV commercial for it.
i have a juicer. In my experience, it is one of those things that you use for a few weeks, then put aside. Why? because it's difficult to clean. Also, you waste a lot of vegetables to get a little juice. From a health standpoint, you MUST be losing nutrients in the pulp too, you would think.
I suggest if you believe it will help you , then get it. If you question it, revisit it in 2 months and just start eating more veggies and fruit. good luck.
